Responsibilities
- ServeasanOwner’sRepresentativeforsafetyacrossdatacenterconstructionandoperationalenvironments
- EnsurecompliancewithOSHA1926StandardsforConstruction andcompany-specificprotocols
- Overseesafetyforsiteworkers,contractors,andthegeneralpublicinactiveelectricalanddatacentersettings
- Developanddeliversafetykick-offpresentations,on-siteorientations,anddailypre-shiftmeetings
- Conductdailysitesafetyinspections,hazardassessments,andauditswithanemphasisonelectricalsystemsandhigh-riskworkareas
- Investigateincidents,documentfindings,andensurefollow-upcorrectiveactions
- Performjobhazardanalyses(JHAs),riskassessments,andsite-specificsafetyplans
- Recommendmodificationsorimprovementstoequipment,facilities,orprocessestoeliminatehazards
- Compileandsubmitdaily,weekly,andmonthlysafetyreportstointernalstakeholdersandclients
- Interfacewithmunicipalities,OSHA,insurancecarriers,andotherregulatoryagenciesasneeded
- Maintainallsafetydocumentationinaccordancewithsiteandcorporatestandards
Required Experience
- Previoussafetyoversightwithindatacenterconstructionoroperations
- Experiencewithelectricalsafety,energizedwork,lockout/tagout(LOTO),andarcflashhazardmitigation
- Familiaritywithmission-criticalenvironmentsandworkingwithtradesincludingelectrical,mechanical,andHVAC
Education/Qualifications
- FluentinEnglish(writtenandverbal)
- OSHA30-HourforConstruction(required)
- 5-10yearsofsafetyexperience,withatleast2yearsindatacenterorelectricalenvironments
- BCSPCertification(e.g.,CHST,CSP,ASP) - required
- DegreeinEnvironmentalHealth&Safetyorrelatedfield(orequivalentexperience)
- Strongabilitytotrainothersonsafetyprogramsandprocedures
- Skilledinrecognizingpotentialhazardsandrecommendingcorrectiveaction
- Abilitytoreadandinterpretconstructiondrawingsandspecifications
- ProficientinMicrosoftOfficeSuite(Outlook,Word,PowerPoint,Excel)
- Technologicallysavvyandcomfortableusingdigitalsafetyplatformsandreportingtools

Thesalaryforthispositioncanrangefrom$95,000-$115,000annually;actualcompensationisbasedonvariousfactors,includingbutnotlimitedto,thecandidate'scompetencies,levelofexperience,education,location,divisionalbudgetandinternalpeercompensationcomparisons.
