– Faculty Position – Department of Psychology, University of Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC), Omaha. Job Summary
The Munroe-Meyer Institute (MMI) for Genetics and Rehabilitation at UNMC is accepting applications for a faculty position in the Department of Psychology. The role focuses on neuropsychological assessment, training, and clinical research for children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Minimum Qualifications
Doctoral degree in Clinical, School, or Counseling Psychology. Training and experience in neuropsychological assessment and research. Nebraska licensure or license‑eligible; ABPP board certification preferred. Clinical internship from APA/CPA‑accredited program preferred. Responsibilities
Develop and lead a neuropsychological services program for children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Provide neuropsychological assessment and diagnostics. Train predoctoral interns and postdoctoral fellows in neuropsychology. Conduct clinical research aligned with the department’s mission. Develop a program utilizing practice extenders or psychometrists to support direct testing, reserving licensed psychologists for diagnostics, interpretation, training, and research. Coordinate clinical care with schools, physicians, and community agencies. Engage in interdisciplinary research and collaboration. Provide clinical services addressing concerns such as brain tumor and treatment, TBI/concussion, epilepsy and other seizure disorders, and genetic and developmental disorders.
