Electrical Project Manager - Houston, TX
Electrical Project Manager position in Houston, TX.
Responsibilities
Review owner contract and ensure compliance.
Manage development of master project schedule and quality control program.
Identify critical issues and milestones.
Review budgets and scopes with the Preconstruction Department.
Manage project budget and identify potential additional cost issues, forecasting accordingly.
Ensure that safety is properly incorporated into job planning and execution.
Manage development of a GMP or Lump Sum Contract.
Prepare subcontract and owner change orders.
Prepare monthly owner requisitions.
Analyze financial ability of subcontractors to perform.
Ensure all contractual requirements of subcontractor/vendor are fulfilled before mobilization.
Manage project assets.
Conduct weekly and monthly review of job cost reports.
Develop look-ahead schedules.
Manage company’s quality control program on the project.
Requirements
Four‑year Construction/Engineering Degree or equivalent combination of technical training and related experience.
Minimum of five years construction, design, finance and management experience.
Proficiency in computer software and keyboarding (Primavera, Expedition, CGC CMS, MS Word, Excel, AIA Contract Documents).
Excellent communications and interpersonal skills.
Advanced knowledge of safety regulations, scheduling, cost control, quality control, engineering drawings, and other construction documents.
