Overview We are looking for an experienced Business Unit Controller to join our 14-strong Finance & Controlling (FICO) team. The FICO team is responsible for finance and controlling matters relating to SKAN's Swiss companies. The team also coordinates group-wide FICO tasks.

Responsibilities

FICO support for dedicated business unit

Sparring partner for business unit manager

Preparation, analysis, and interpretation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for the assigned business unit (international)

Support in the preparation of internal financial reporting (monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements)

Processing of ad hoc analyses and reports, including presentation of results

Preparation of target/actual comparisons and profitability analyses

Collaboration in the planning and implementation of the budget process

Collaboration in optimization processes (department-specific and cross-departmental)

Support for specialist departments in all business management issues

Degree in business administration with a focus on finance and controlling

Further training in controlling (e.g., expert in accounting and controlling) desirable

SAP knowledge (FICO modules essential), additional SAP module knowledge such as PP, SD, MM advantageous

Very good knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel

Strong conceptual and analytical skills

High affinity for IT and applications

Several years of professional experience in controlling in a manufacturing company is an advantage

Good knowledge of accounting standards (Swiss GAAP FER)

Confident and assured manner as well as very good communication and language skills

Business fluent German and English, both written and spoken
