role. The successful candidate will provide R&D engineering leadership for new product innovation, renovation, expansion, and optimization within the Kimberly-Clark North America Personal Care businesses.

Responsibilities

Lead engineering development through FOAK for projects ranging from less than $1 MM to over $10 MM in support of new product innovation and optimization.

Provide engineering leadership to internal and external engineers to develop learning plans that establish equipment designs to meet process and product success criteria.

Know and follow Project Management Practices and manage all projects to meet or exceed project success criteria and timing.

Develop and apply LEAN capability to support continuous improvement strategies; identify complex technical issues to determine root cause.

Carry out all job responsibilities in a safe manner, developing equipment and processes that meet safety codes, policies and guidelines.

Coach and mentor new team members and less experienced engineers.

Serve as Subject Matter Expert in Engineering Feasibility Studies and Equipment Learning Plan Development.

Qualifications

Bachelor's in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or Chemical Engineering.

7+ years experience in related engineering field(s); candidates with advanced degrees and applicable experience may also be considered.

Demonstrated experience in engineering design/feasibility and project management with the ability to lead cross‑functional teams to achieve project results within required timeframes.

Demonstrated ability to network, collaborate and influence across staff functions and departments as well as manufacturing sites.

Demonstrated experience leading external Technical Service Providers.

Strong written and verbal communication skills, including ability to communicate clearly, concisely, and effectively.

Ability to travel up to 25 %.

Preferred Experience

10+ years experience in related engineering field(s).

Experience and expertise in KC Personal Care capital engineering leadership including EFS, EDR, and project execution.

Experience and expertise across multiple KC Personal Care manufacturing processes including Child Care, Baby Care, Adult Care, Fem Care and Wipes.

Experience working with external technical service providers and equipment suppliers.

Experience working with SolidWorks and AutoCAD for engineering layouts and mechanical design.

Salary and Location Salary Range: 105,740 – 130,620 USD (US locations only). Primary Location: Neenah – West R&E Office.
