Senior Supervisor Manufacturing Operations-2nd shift (Onsite)

Shift: 2nd Shift, Monday – Friday, 2 pm – 10 pm (may require additional hours or schedule changes based on business needs)

What You Will Do Manages build operators and test technicians to meet production schedules while continuously assessing and refining processes. Identifies appropriate staffing, ensures training, holds accountability to quality and productivity metrics, and works with support staff to oversee material availability and identify potential production issues. Provides leadership updates on daily issues and works to resolve problems, communicating needs and progress to the first shift. This role focuses on optimizing manufacturing and production processes to boost efficiency, productivity, and quality for programs such as TACNET, MIDSJ, and TTNT. Facilitates interdepartmental collaboration with quality assurance, manufacturing, purchasing, engineering, inventory control, traffic, and other teams.
Ensure all quality related items for multiple cells or a complex cell are complete and documented to meet established quality standards.
Guide cost reduction and process improvement to ensure efficiency and cost effectiveness.
Plan and execute scheduling to meet production schedules.
Guide sequencing of work, such as build and delivery, to optimize productivity.
Supervise materials and logistics problem resolution to ensure availability of materials and smooth operations.
Manage cell performance and productivity to maximize output.
Guide production innovation, including additive manufacturing, to enhance capabilities.
Interface with customers to understand needs and issues and ensure satisfactory service.
Responsible for all or a major portion of processing operations in a plant.
Oversee production operations, maintenance, plant engineering, scheduling, and personnel.
Manage and supervise manufacturing disciplines in the Operations function.
Perform professional or management work across multiple manufacturing disciplines.
Qualifications You Must Have
Typically requires a university degree and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience, or an advanced degree and a minimum of 3 years of experience.
Experience leading a team of direct production reports.
