In this pivotal role, you'll have the autonomy to shape our marketing vision, build a talented team, and drive initiatives that fuel our expansion. If you are energized by the challenge of creating high‑impact marketing in a fast‑paced SaaS environment and have a proven history of successfully launching and scaling B2B SaaS marketing departments, we'd love to connect with you!

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy aligned with ambitious business goals and market opportunities for rapid scaling.

Take full ownership of the marketing department, with autonomy to build, lead, and scale the team and processes from scratch.

Set clear, growth‑oriented KPIs and performance metrics; regularly report on progress and ROI.

Define and refine Buzz AI’s market positioning, messaging, and value proposition to stand out in a crowded SaaS landscape.

Lead go‑to‑market (GTM) strategy for new product launches and feature releases.

Oversee brand development and ensure consistent messaging across all channels.

Design, run, and oversee multi‑channel marketing campaigns—including paid advertising (e.g., Google Ads, socials) and content—to drive demand generation and brand awareness.

Expertly bridge design intuition with ad strategy, ensuring all creative assets and campaigns are high‑performing and on‑brand.

Optimize the marketing funnel from awareness through conversion, continuously improving lead quality and volume.

Monitor, analyze, and optimize campaign performance in real time to maximize ROI and achieve business objectives.

Drive customer acquisition and retention strategies to reduce churn and maximize lifetime value.

Build and mentor a high‑performing marketing team, hiring and developing talent across content, growth, product, and brand marketing.

Foster a culture of accountability, creativity, and data‑driven decision‑making.

Collaborate closely with sales, product, and customer success teams to ensure alignment and maximize impact.

Select, implement, and optimize marketing technology stacks (CRM, automation, analytics) to support exponential growth.

Analyze data to inform strategy, run rapid experiments, and optimize campaigns for maximum ROI.

Manage relationships with agencies, freelancers, and vendors as needed, ensuring clear objectives and results.

Proactively identify and address potential crises (e.g., negative reviews, churn spikes), ensuring messaging and actions align with company values.

Adapt quickly to changing market conditions, business priorities, and growth phases.

Requirements

10+ years of progressive marketing leadership experience in B2B SaaS, with a proven track record as a Growth Marketer, VP Marketing, or similar.

Mandatory: Demonstrated experience successfully building and scaling a SaaS marketing department from the early startup phase through significant growth milestones, including hiring, process development, and scaling.

Deep understanding of SaaS growth levers: lead generation, funnel optimization, customer lifecycle marketing, and retention.

Hands‑on experience running and optimizing paid ad campaigns across major platforms (Google Ads, social, etc.), including budget management and performance analysis.

Proven capability to function as a "Swiss Army Knife"—able to execute across strategic planning, content oversight, design direction, and hands‑on campaign management.

Exceptional eye for design and creative strategy with hands‑on capability using tools like Canva and Figma to drive high‑impact visual campaigns.

Expertise in modern MarTech, analytics, and marketing automation — HubSpot (must‑have), Salesforce, Google Analytics.

Strong grasp of SaaS metrics: CAC, LTV, ARR, churn, and pipeline management.

Proactive, hands‑on, and entrepreneurial; thrives in fast‑paced, ambiguous environments and takes full ownership of outcomes.

Exceptional communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.

Experience collaborating with sales, product, and executive leadership to drive company‑wide alignment.
