Location & Work Arrangement

City, State: Remote (Must physically reside within the US).

Work Arrangement: Remote (100% Remote, but equipment must be picked up in person).

Contract: This is a Contract position.

Mode of Interview: Web Cam Interview Only.

Technical Focus: 80% Cloud Engineering The primary focus is on hands‑on solution engineering and implementing DevOps methodologies on the AWS cloud platform.

Full‑Stack & Serverless Development

Front‑End: Build responsive, user‑friendly applications using React, Node.js, and TypeScript.

Back‑End: Implement serverless back‑end APIs leveraging AWS Lambda and NoSQL databases like AWS DynamoDB.

API Design: Develop and maintain APIs tailored for cloud environments leveraging AWS API Gateway.

Architecture: Implement serverless computing and event‑driven architecture.

Infrastructure as Code (IaC) & DevOps

Automation: Automate cloud infrastructure management using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools: AWS CloudFormation, AWS SAM, and Terraform.

Scripting: Script and automate tasks using Python (or Node.js).

CI/CD: Optimize deployment pipelines for Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) using AWS CodeBuild, CodeDeploy, and CodePipeline.

Version Control: Solid understanding of Git and DevOps practices.

Cloud Operations & Security

Monitoring: Set up monitoring, logging, and alerting for cloud infrastructure using AWS CloudWatch and CloudTrail.

Networking: Implement cloud networking concepts, including VPCs, subnets, and security groups.

Security: Adopt cloud security best practices, including IAM (Identity and Access Management).

Certifications: Industry certifications (AWS Certified Solutions Architect/Developer - Associate level) are highly desirable.

Technical Focus: 20% Windows Server Administration The secondary focus involves supporting the existing on‑prem and hybrid infrastructure.

Server OS: Operational and administrative experience with Microsoft Windows Servers (Server 2016, Server 2019, Server 2022).

Support: Provide end‑user support, system administration, and problem resolution.

Skills: Experience in Microsoft server and network administration to include end‑user and vendor support.

Required Qualifications Summary

Windows Server Admin

– 10 Years Experience; Windows Server 2019/2022, Microsoft Server/Network Administration.

AWS Cloud Platform

– 5 Years Experience (Intermediate Proficiency); AWS Lambda, AWS DynamoDB, AWS API Gateway, IAM, VPCs, CloudFormation/SAM/Terraform.

Full-Stack/Serverless

– 5 Years Experience (Strong Experience); React, Node.js, TypeScript (Front‑End), Serverless Back‑End.

DevOps/CI/CD

– 5 Years Experience (Solid Understanding); Git, DevOps Practices, AWS CodeBuild/CodeDeploy/CodePipeline.

Scripting

– 8 Years Experience; Python, PowerShell, Node.js.

Certifications

– AWS Certified Solutions Architect/Developer (Associate Level) - Highly Desired.
