Location: Richmond, VA • Duration: 6 months • Pay Rate: Webcam Interview • Note: REMOTE ONLY – Must pick up equipment in person. Design, implement, and maintain scalable technology assets leveraging AWS cloud technologies. Provide end‑user support, system administration, and problem resolution in our mixed Windows Server environment (Server 2016, Server 2019, Server 2022). Build full‑stack cloud‑native solutions, create front‑end applications using React, Node.js, and TypeScript, design APIs with AWS API Gateway, implement serverless computing with AWS Lambda and DynamoDB, automate infrastructure with IaC (CloudFormation, SAM, Terraform), script tasks with Python, set up monitoring and logging with CloudWatch and CloudTrail, optimize CI/CD pipelines using CodeBuild, CodeDeploy, and CodePipeline. Collaborate with senior team members and business owners to deliver robust cloud‑based solutions that improve the customer experience, design scalability and resilience, ensure comprehensive testing and security compliance, identify process improvement opportunities, contribute to R&D initiatives, and maintain Windows Server and network administration support. Responsibilities
Design, implement, and maintain scalable technology assets on AWS cloud platform. Automate cloud infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as AWS CloudFormation, AWS SAM, and Terraform. Build responsive front‑end applications using React, Node.js, and TypeScript. Develop and maintain APIs tailored for cloud environments leveraging AWS API Gateway, AWS Lambda, and NoSQL databases such as AWS DynamoDB. Implement serverless computing and event‑driven architecture using AWS Lambda and AWS DynamoDB. Set up monitoring, logging, and alerting for cloud infrastructure using AWS CloudWatch, CloudWatch Alarms, and AWS CloudTrail. Optimize deployment pipelines for Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) using AWS CodeBuild, AWS CodeDeploy, and AWS CodePipeline. Collaborate with senior team members and business owners to deliver robust cloud‑based solutions aligned with business needs. Assist in designing scalable and resilient cloud engineering solutions. Ensure comprehensive testing, security compliance, and operational stability of solutions. Identify opportunities for process improvement and innovation. Contribute to research and development initiatives and participate in technology skill enhancement programs. Provide end‑user and vendor support for Windows Servers and network administration responsibilities. Qualifications
Intermediate proficiency with the AWS Cloud Platform; familiarity with standard software engineering industry best practices. Strong experience implementing full‑stack web applications leveraging React, Node.js, and TypeScript on the front‑end, and implementing serverless back‑end APIs using AWS Lambda and NoSQL databases such as AWS DynamoDB. Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Node.js, PowerShell). Solid understanding of version control (e.g., Git), DevOps practices, and CI/CD pipelines. Analytical mindset and problem‑solving skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to collaborate across diverse teams and build relationships with stakeholders. Passion for learning new technologies and staying updated on tech trends. Experience in on‑prem Windows Server, cloud, and hybrid infrastructure. Industry certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect/Developer – Associate level) and Microsoft Server Engineer certifications.
