Nationwide complex litigation docket – handle multi-district disputes and appellate arguments in circuits from the Second to Ninth, representing policyholders in high-exposure coverage battles against major carriers. Federal questions and contract expertise for trial-ready cases – draft sophisticated briefs on policy interpretation and bad-faith claims, preparing for bench trials in SDNY and EDNY with full support for evidentiary hearings. Expanding practice amid surging demand – the firm's coverage group has grown 25% in caseload over the past year, providing immediate bandwidth for seniors to lead high-volume matters without junior overload. Involvement in $35M+ high-stakes claims like the Napa fire subrogation case – advise on massive property/casualty recoveries, coordinating experts and negotiating multimillion settlements for institutional clients. Competitive compensation with flexible hybrid model – $225K base salary targeting 1800-1900 hours, plus discretionary bonuses for resolutions, comprehensive medical/dental/vision, 401(k) match, fully remote. Analyze insurance policies for coverage positions and bad-faith exposures in multimillion-dollar claims. Draft declaratory judgment complaints and oppositions to motions in federal and state courts. Conduct depositions of carriers, adjusters, and experts on policy language and claim handling. Negotiate settlements and mediate inter-insurer disputes for optimal policyholder recoveries.
