Base Pay Range $80,000.00/yr - $100,000.00/yr
About the Role The Advanced Data Analyst will play a pivotal role in extracting actionable insights from large and complex data sources. You will partner with cross‑functional teams, including business leaders, engineers, and product managers, to translate organizational goals into data‑driven strategies. Your expertise in statistical modeling, machine learning, and visualization will enable our company to make informed decisions and maintain a competitive edge.
Responsibilities
Data Exploration and Analysis:
Acquire, clean, and analyze complex datasets from a variety of sources using advanced statistical techniques. Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies that inform strategic business decisions.
Model Development:
Build, evaluate, and deploy predictive and prescriptive models using machine learning algorithms. Continuously refine models based on new data and feedback from stakeholders.
Business Intelligence & Reporting:
Design and create dashboards, visualizations, and automated reports to communicate findings clearly and effectively to technical and non‑technical audiences.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
Work closely with business leaders, IT professionals, and product teams to understand requirements, deliver insights, and provide data‑driven recommendations.
Process Improvement:
Evaluate existing data processes and recommend enhancements to improve data quality, accessibility, and analysis efficiency.
Data Governance:
Ensure data integrity, privacy, and compliance with relevant regulations and company policies.
Continuous Learning:
Stay abreast of emerging trends in analytics, machine learning, and data visualization. Mentor junior analysts and contribute to knowledge‑sharing initiatives.
Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field. Or Professional certification in data analytics, data science, or related areas (e.g., Certified Analytics Professional, Microsoft Certified Data Analyst Associate).
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of hands‑on experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or data science roles.
Advanced proficiency in SQL and relational databases.
Expert‑level skills in statistical programming languages such as Python or R.
Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker).
Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
Background in A/B testing, experiment design, and causal inference.
Experience leveraging APIs and integrating external data sources.
Exposure to natural language processing and text analytics.
Required Skills
Analytical Abilities:
Demonstrated ability to apply advanced statistical and analytical methods to solve complex business problems.
Communication:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly to varied audiences.
