This temporary application developer position supports the integration of Acuity (scheduling system) and the Michigan Customer Portal (MCP) built on Microsoft Dynamics 365 at Michigan Language Assessment.

Responsibilities

Facilitate the integration of Acuity and the Michigan Customer Portal.

Complete the API integration with Acuity to populate identified data and integrate with MCP to facilitate the user journey for scheduling an exam.

Create a web page to be integrated into the MLA WordPress website.

Provide other support to the Information Technology team as needed.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in information technology field or equivalent work experience.

5 years of software development experience in a higher education environment.

Experience developing software that interacts with APIs.

Experience deploying solutions in a cloud environment.

Detail-oriented.

Excellent customer service.

Excellent time management and organizational skills.

Ability to manage multiple projects.

Desired Qualifications

Familiar with University of Michigan policies and procedures.

Experience with Acuity.

Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365.

Work Locations This position may be eligible for remote and/or flexible work opportunities at the discretion of the hiring department. The position is supported as a remote temporary position; it is preferred that the successful candidate use their own technology.
