A Day In The Life As the Accounting Manager, you will oversee the accounting and compliance functions of the Company’s subsidiaries around the world. Responsible for the audit process in assigned countries due to the region’s unique regulatory and cultural nuances. The intricate tax laws and financial reporting requirements in assigned countries necessitate a dedicated professional to oversee the audit activities and ensure compliance and accuracy.

The Impact You’ll Make

Entail hands‑on management of international accounting and reporting, working closely with worldwide subsidiaries.

Manage the preparation and review of journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, accruals, reserves, intercompany transactions, and maintenance of Company chart of accounts.

Coordination of 3rd‑party accounting service providers – establishing closing calendars, account coding standardization, and general control requirements.

Monitor global compliance with corporate accounting policies.

Ensure timely and accurate country‑specific statutory audits and tax filings.

Coordinate internal operations, regulatory, accounting, and customer service departments.

Drive process and reporting improvements and standardization efforts.

Provide timely budget‑to‑actual reports with variance explanations and collaborate with the Finance team to provide reports and analysis.

Provide schedules for quarterly 10Q, 10K filings, and for Board presentation.

Oversee the International external audit process.

Who You Are

Prefer a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field of study.

Experience Desired: More than 5 years of experience in a combination of Big 4 and a publicly traded organization.

Additional Experience Desired: Between 1‑3 years of international experience.

Computer Skills Desired: Strong computer and Excel skills are required.

Preferred Certifications: Certified Public Accountant (CPA) strongly preferred.

Additional Knowledge or Skills to be Successful: Fluency in English preferred.

Monster Energy provides a competitive total compensation. This position has an estimated annual salary of $103,000 - $135,000. The actual pay may vary depending on your skills, qualifications, experience, and work location.
