Primary Job Responsibilities
Organize work and appropriately prioritize patient care and/or projects with occasional assistance from supervisor
Objectively assist in developing systems that improve responsiveness to patients
Exhibit well-developed critical thinking skills, particularly in ambiguous situations
Demonstrate ability to operate with minimal day-to-day direction or oversight
Coordinate complex scheduling of diagnostic procedures and consultations. Work with PSS to schedule less complex referrals as well as appointments with scheduling directions in place
Facilitate scheduling of urgent referrals and procedures, working closely with the clinic medical director to triage, using knowledge of surgical procedure-specific diagnoses, CPT codes
Triage patient phone calls according to severity of need; follow through and resolve patient requests in a timely manner
Collaborate with Business Operations Supervisor and PSS to create, update and maintain all clinic templating that meets the needs of patients, clinic staff and providers
Sit at the front desk on clinic day to assist with scheduling follow-ups when patients leave their appointments
Requirements
High school graduation or equivalent AND two years of experience in the program specialty
OR Equivalent education and/or experience may substitute for minimum qualifications except when there are legal requirements, such as a license, certification, and/or registration
Compensation and Benefits Pay Range Minimum:
$47,724.00 annual
Pay Range Maximum:
$68,244.00 annual
Union/Bargaining Unit:
SEIU Local 925 Nonsupervisory
