Job Description • Specialty: CT Technologist • Discipline: Allied Health Professional • Start Date: ASAP • Duration: 13 weeks • Hours: 40 hours per week (8‑hour days) • Shift: 8 hours, days • Employment Type: Travel Contract
Qualifications
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited Radiologic Technology program
Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in Radiography (R); ARRT (CT) certification preferred
Active state radiologic technologist license (if applicable)
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association; ACLS preferred
1–2 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist; prior CT imaging experience strongly preferred
Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and CT imaging protocols
Contract Details
$1,960 – $2,176 per week
12‑week contract with possibility to extend
AM shifts available
Tax‑free stipend to be determined
Duties
Operate computerized tomography equipment to capture diagnostic images
Sterilize radiologic equipment to ensure patient safety
Explain scanning procedures to patients
Ensure patient safety and comfort, including appropriate radiation protection practices
Evaluate CT scans to determine the technical quality of images
