Job Description We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Administrator & Business Analyst to own, optimize, and support our Salesforce platform while partnering with key stakeholders to improve business processes. This hybrid role is ideal for a problem‑solver who combines technical Salesforce expertise with strong business analysis skills. You will serve as the primary system administrator, integration steward (including Salesforce–QuickBooks), process analyst, and trusted advisor to our sales, finance, and operations teams.

Duties and Responsibilities

Serve as the primary Salesforce administrator for a mid‑sized user base.

Manage user setup, profiles, roles, and security controls.

Create and maintain custom objects, fields, page layouts, record types, and validation rules.

Build and optimize flows, automations, and approval processes.

Maintain data integrity, perform regular data audits, and complete data imports/updates.

Monitor and troubleshoot platform issues, including errors arising from integrations.

Support end users with training, issue resolution, and best practices.

Manage sandbox environments, deployments, and release updates (triannual Salesforce releases).

Maintain system documentation, training materials, and change logs.

Business Analysis & Process Improvement (30–40%)

Partner with Sales, Finance, Operations, and Leadership to understand business needs.

Analyze existing processes and workflows; identify gaps and opportunities for efficiency.

Gather requirements and translate them into functional system specifications.

Develop user stories, acceptance criteria, and process documentation.

Lead discovery sessions, working sessions, and cross‑functional workshops.

Recommend scalable solutions aligned with business objectives and Salesforce best practices.

Create dashboards and reporting for sales, finance, and leadership teams.

Oversee and maintain the integration between Salesforce and QuickBooks (e.g., through a connector or API).

Troubleshoot sync errors and ensure accurate data flow between systems.

Collaborate with Finance on revenue, invoice, and customer data consistency.

Optimize mapping logic, workflows, and data standards across systems.

Required Experience/Skills

3+ years of Salesforce Administration experience in a professional environment.

Salesforce Administrator Certification (ADM‑201 or equivalent) required.

Hands‑on experience configuring flows, validation rules, and automation.

Strong understanding of sales processes, CRM best practices, and reporting.

Experience with business analysis: requirements gathering, documentation, and process mapping.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Ability to translate business needs into system design.

Strong problem‑solving skills with attention to detail.

Nice to have

Experience in mid‑sized organizations (50–500 employees).

Experience administering Salesforce–QuickBooks integrations.

Additional Salesforce certifications (Advanced Admin, Platform App Builder, Business Analyst).

Experience with data tools such as Data Loader or third‑party ETL tools.

Experience with CPQ, quoting, or order‑to‑cash processes.

Customer service mindset with strong user support skills.

Analytical and process‑oriented.

Able to work independently and manage priorities.

Strong documentation and communication abilities.

Continuous improver with a passion for operational efficiency.

Comfortable working cross‑functionally with Sales, Finance, and Operations.

Pay & Benefits Summary

Base: $80,000
