Job Title: Senior Infrastructure Developer
Department: Health System Shared Services | Technology Deployment
Position Summary The Infrastructure Automation Developer will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining automated infrastructure and monitoring solutions. This role involves integrating and managing infrastructure automation tools, developing code for infrastructure, ensuring the stability and security of infrastructure device configurations, and supporting infrastructure monitoring tools. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in infrastructure automation, coding, and management.
Responsibilities
Build, configure, and support infrastructure automation.
Integrate and maintain Ansible, AWX, and/or Tower.
Develop code to manage, configure, update, and modify infrastructure.
Establish and maintain a build and deployment pipeline (version control, approvals, testing, and deployment).
Automate repetitive maintenance tasks, including system updates.
Automate and standardize core configuration of routers and switches based on security baselines and best practices.
Create reporting on infrastructure discovery and inventory.
Create reporting and monitor for configuration drift.Strengthen CMDB through data enrichment processes.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Proven experience in infrastructure automation and management.
Proficiency with Ansible, AWX, and/or Tower.
Strong coding skills in languages such as Python, Bash, or similar.
Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
Understanding of security best practices and configuration management.
