In this role you will be responsible for the level 3 support, design, implementation, and optimization of scalable Microsoft Office 365 solutions, with a focus on Communication (Teams), Collaboration (SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business), Office 365 Apps (Power Automate), as well as familiarity with hybrid configurations with on-premises Exchange 2019 and Exchange online. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in M365 engineering, data migrations, excellent communication skills, self‑motivated, frequent collaboration in a team, and a problem‑solving attitude. The position is based in Oklahoma City and expects on‑site presence 80% of the time.
Responsibilities
Administer, optimize, and govern the Microsoft 365 platform (including Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Power Platform, and approved productivity apps), encompassing licensing management/optimization, user/group administration in Entra ID/Azure AD (excluding conditional access/MFA policies), permissions, workspace configuration, performance monitoring, security/compliance (including DLP reviews, Zero Trust alignment, and governance policies), reporting, and analytics.
Design, implement, customize, and manage solutions for SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams, including sites, libraries, lists, permissions, workflows, apps, lifecycle management, and Microsoft Teams Rooms / conference technologies.
Provide primary administration and support for Power Platform, including solution design, automation, and integrations with other systems as needed.
Deliver Tier 3 / Level 3 technical support, guidance, and troubleshooting across M365 services (emphasizing SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, user access, and escalations); serve as primary escalation point for end users, Tier 1/2 teams, and stakeholders; coordinate with Microsoft and third‑party vendors; manage incidents, changes, and requests in ServiceNow using ITIL methodologies.
Execute data assessments, migrations, and implementations (on‑premises to M365 or between tenants), including process automation and off‑hours work to minimize disruption.
Collaborate with IT teams and vendors on M365 integrations and interoperability, with significant emphasis on third‑party SaaS solutions.
Stay current on M365/cloud developments; proactively monitor platform health, changes, and new features; test/evaluate capabilities; provide impact analyses and adoption recommendations.
Administer the secondary production M365 tenant in Australia/New Zealand (ANZ) and maintain a fully functional test environment.
Participate in on‑call rotation (one week per month with company‑provided mobile phone).
Create, update, and manage departmental Knowledge Articles in ServiceNow Knowledge.
Education & Experience Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required from an accredited institution.
Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
Minimum of 10 + years of Information Technology experience.
Proven experience as an M365 engineer or similar role.
Knowledge, Skills, or Abilities
In‑depth knowledge of SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, PowerApps development and configuration.
Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and M365 management tools.
Familiarity with M365 security and compliance features and standards.
Familiarity with Microsoft 365 licensing functions, including license management, compliance, and optimization.
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
Excellent, professional communication, collaboration, and documentation skills.
Experience or proficiency using Service Now.
Relevant certification in M365 or cloud technologies is a plus.
