Family Guidance Centers, Inc. (FGC) is a not-for-profit behavioral health organization dedicated to treating and preventing substance use disorder and related problems. Since 1969, FGC’s comprehensive programs have guided individuals toward their full potential as productive members of their families and society. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Work as part of a multidisciplinary team of hospital and FGC staff to assist, monitor, and coordinate services for medical detox patients. Assist patients with a variety of concerns, focusing on biomedically stabilizing them and referring them to medication-assisted treatment (MAT) or a high-level outpatient clinic (HLOC) if requested. Perform comprehensive bio-psychosocial assessments, complete the Lighthouse Locator, and manage admission, discharge, and Government Performance and Results Act documentation for each patient during shift. Review patients’ continued stay, monitoring medical necessity and appropriateness of ongoing hospitalization. Collaborate to formulate realistic discharge care plans, communicate with patients, complete appropriate forms, and contract with individuals to facilitate linkage to community-based agencies and services. Ensure all referrals are linked through follow‑up. Location

Monday – Friday, 2:30 p.m. – 11:00 p.m. Start Date
ASAP Pay Rate
$18.00 – $21.63 per hour, based on experience. Required Experience and Education
High School Diploma or GED required. Experience in substance use, detox programs, medication‑assisted treatment, behavioral health, and/or community relations encouraged. Certification, Licensure, Registrations
IAODAPCA Certified Alcohol and Other Drugs Counselor (CADC) preferred. Benefits
