Java Springboot lead developer

with a client in
Las Vegas, NV.
You will lead the design and development of high-performing microservices and RESTful APIs using Java and Spring Boot, ensuring scalability and reliability.
Rate Range:
$48/hour to $50/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Java Springboot lead developer job responsibilities include:
Lead the design and development of Spring Boot microservices and RESTful APIs using Java 1.8, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance for high-traffic, public-facing applications.
Set coding standards and perform code reviews, driving quality through unit test coverage, debugging best practices, and continuous improvement of existing services.
Architect data access and integration patterns leveraging SQL, NoSQL, messaging, and scripting to build robust, resilient backend jobs and services.
Collaborate with front-end teams (React) to deliver end-to-end solutions, ensuring responsive web design alignment (HTML5/CSS3) and seamless API contracts.
Analyze legacy and current codebases to identify optimizations, refactor for maintainability, and drive defect resolution across environments.
Manage source control and delivery workflows in Git, supporting CI/CD pipelines, Branching strategies, and release management.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
Minimum 10+ years overall IT experience with 6–10+ years in a lead development role.
Strong expertise in Java 1.8, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture, including building RESTful APIs for high-traffic applications.
Hands-on experience with SQL/NoSQL databases, React framework, CI/CD practices, and responsive web design (HTML5/CSS3).

Pay Details:
$48.00 to $50.00 per hour
