Senior Cloud Engineer (Merrimack, NH) Kforce has a client in Merrimack, NH that is seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer.

Responsibilities

Manage and support large-scale Unix-based file transfer environments

Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues across Linux systems

Develop and maintain automation scripts to streamline file transfer operations

Collaborate with infrastructure, development, and business teams to ensure seamless data integration

Implement and maintain cloud-native solutions for scalable and secure file transfers

Design and develop new features and enhancements using modern frameworks

Maintain system documentation and ensure compliance with operational and security standards

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

10+ years of experience in Unix/Linux system administration and support

Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

Strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills

Strong command of Linux shell and troubleshooting tools

Solid understanding of basic Windows administration tasks

Proficiency in at least one programming or scripting language (e.g., Python, Bash, Perl)

Hands‑on experience with AWS services including EKS, EC2, S3, IAM, and networking

Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes for containerized deployments

Experience with TIBCO products is a plus

Strong understanding of secure file transfer protocols and best practices

Development Skills

Experience building backend services using Spring Boot

Familiarity with Node.js for server-side development

Proficiency in frontend frameworks such as React or Angular

Understanding of microservices architecture and RESTful API design

Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices

Compensation The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range.

Note: Pay is not considered compensation until it is earned, vested and determinable. The amount and availability of any compensation remains in Kforce’s sole discretion unless and until paid and may be modified in its discretion consistent with the law.

Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
