Contract – $62.00/hr – $66.00/hr
Job Summary Handle the design and construction of scalable data management systems, ensure alignment with company and industry standards, and research new data acquisition approaches. Requires deep knowledge of data mining, algorithms, and data utilization.
Primary Responsibilities
Design, construct, install, test, and maintain data management systems.
Build high-performance algorithms, predictive models, and prototypes.
Ensure all systems meet business and industry requirements.
Integrate emerging data management and software engineering technologies into existing structures.
Develop processes for data mining, modeling, and production.
Create custom software components and analytics applications.
Research new uses for existing data.
Employ various technologies and tools to connect systems.
Collaborate with data architects, IT team, and data scientists on project goals.
Install and update disaster recovery procedures.
Recommend strategies to improve data reliability and quality.
Qualifications
Technical degree or equivalent work experience.
Experience with relational and non-relational databases (SQL, MySQL, NoSQL, Hadoop, MongoDB).
Experience programming and/or architecting back-end solutions (Java, J2EE).
