About the Global Transaction Advisory Group (TAG) TAG is a subsidiary of A&M and a leader in providing global leadership and advisory services. TAG professionals specialize in financial and accounting buy‑side and sell‑side due diligence, capital markets and accounting advisory, global transaction analytics, environmental, technical & sustainability (ETS) and other M&A services across private equity, hedge funds, sovereign wealth, family office and corporate clients worldwide.

About the Global Transaction Analytics (GTA) Practice A&M GTA is a fast‑growing practice within TAG that provides data analytics services to help clients uncover actionable insights for M&A, divestment, and investment strategy. Our global team leverages market‑leading technology, advanced analytics capabilities and A&M’s operational, functional and industry expertise to deliver analytics as a service across the entire transaction lifecycle.

How You Will Contribute As a Manager in the GTA practice, you will lead client engagements, manage day‑to‑day client interactions, contribute to business development, and mentor junior team members across multiple deals. Your work will span industries including manufacturing, distribution, consumer retail, restaurants, business & industrial services, healthcare, software & technology, energy, and financial services.

Responsibilities

Lead numerous client engagements.

Effectively manage day‑to‑day client interaction and relationships.

Proactively contribute to business development opportunities.

Manage and prioritize team responsibilities, consulting with senior members as appropriate across multiple deals.

Work cohesively and collaboratively with stakeholders.

Counsel and mentor junior members of the team and continue to develop their technical acumen.

Proactively recruit, train, and develop junior staff members, including teaching training classes as applicable.

Qualifications

A minimum of 5+ years of experience in data analytics or transaction services.

Buy‑side/vendor due diligence experience across industries preferred.

Understanding of M&A / PE investment lifecycle preferred.

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Statistics, Information Systems or a related field.

Understanding of data extraction, manipulation, analytics and visualization approaches.

Strong technical background with hands‑on data analytics experience.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, relational databases/SQL querying, Alteryx, business intelligence/visualization (Tableau and/or Power BI), big data and machine learning concepts.

Ability to leverage business intelligence software.

Ability to communicate complex technical concepts in a thorough yet concise manner.

Exceptional project management skills.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Flexibility to work as both a team member in a collaborative setting and as an individual contributor.

Ability to thrive and be effective in fast‑paced settings.

Compensation & Benefits The base salary is $160,000 annually, dependent on education, experience, skills, and geography. A&M offers a discretionary bonus program based on individual and firm performance, and regular employees working 30 or more hours per week are eligible for A&M’s fringe benefits, including healthcare plans, flexible spending and savings accounts, life, AD&D, disability coverages, and a 401(k) retirement plan.
