Manager – Global Transaction Analytics

We are looking for a Manager to join our Global Transaction Analytics (GTA) practice in rapid growth locations including New York, Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Denver, Houston, Miami, Nashville, Los Angeles and San Francisco.

The GTA team provides data analytics services to clients to uncover actionable insights that support M&A, divestiture and investment strategy.

Our global team leverages market‑leading technology, advanced analytics capabilities, and A&M’s operational, functional and industry expertise to drive relevant business insights. Global Transaction Advisory Group (TAG)

TAG is a subsidiary of A&M and is an established leader in providing global advisory services to a diverse range of clients.

TAG professionals specialize in financial and accounting buy‑side and sell‑side due diligence, capital markets and accounting advisory, global transaction analytics, environmental, technical & sustainability (ETS) and related M&A services for private equity, hedge funds, sovereign wealth, family office and corporate clients worldwide. Global Transaction Analytics (GTA)

The GTA practice is an exciting opportunity to join a fast‑growing team and help our clients get the answers they need to get the deal done across the investment lifecycle—from pre‑deal to post‑deal analysis. How You Will Contribute

As a Manager in our GTA practice, you will work with a highly motivated and effective team on a variety of projects across industries including manufacturing, distribution, consumer, retail, restaurants, business and industrial services, healthcare, software & technology, energy and financial services.

You will add value to clients by offering data‑enabled business, financial and operational transparency during pre‑acquisition due diligence or post‑acquisition performance improvement projects. Responsibilities

Lead numerous client engagements Effectively manage day‑to‑day client interaction and relationships Proactively contribute to business development opportunities Manage and prioritize team responsibilities and consult with senior members of the team across multiple deals Work cohesively and collaboratively across stakeholders Counsel and mentor junior members of the team and continue to develop the team’s technical acumen Proactively recruit, train and develop junior staff members, including teaching training classes as applicable Your Journey at A&M

Minimum of 5+ years of experience in data analytics or transaction services Buy‑side/vendor due diligence experience across industries preferred Understanding of M&A/PE investment lifecycle preferred Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Statistics, Information Systems or related field Understanding of data extraction, manipulation, analytics and visualization approaches Strong technical background with hands‑on data analytics experience Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, relational databases/SQL querying, Alteryx, business intelligence/visualization (Tableau and/or Power BI), big data and machine learning concepts Ability to leverage business intelligence software Ability to communicate complex technical concepts in a thorough yet concise manner Exceptional project management skills Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Flexibility to work as both a team member in a collaborative setting and as an individual contributor Ability to thrive and be effective in fast‑paced settings The base salary is $160,000 annually, dependent on several variables including but not limited to education, experience, skills and geography.

In addition, A&M offers a discretionary bonus program based on individual and firm performance; please ask your recruiter for details. Regular employees working 30 or more hours per week are entitled to participate in A&M’s fringe benefits, including healthcare plans, flexible spending and savings accounts, life, AD&D and disability coverages at rates determined from time to time, and a 401(k) retirement plan.

Employees meeting eligibility requirements also receive a discretionary 401(k) contribution from A&M.
