Akkodis is seeking a
Terraform Cloud DevOps Engineer
for a
Contract
with a client in
Plano, TX . Responsibilities include provisioning secure, scalable cloud environments and building CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions to support application deployment and lifecycle automation.
Rate Range:
$71/hour to $75/hour; negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Job Responsibilities
Design and provision AWS infrastructure using Terraform to support cloud migrations and upgrades.
Automate infrastructure lifecycle activities including provisioning, configuration management, and CI/CD using GitHub Actions.
Implement security best practices to ensure compliance and protect cloud environments.
Collaborate with engineering and architecture teams to define infrastructure standards and technology roadmaps.
Monitor and optimize cloud performance and cost, troubleshooting issues across environments.
Drive continuous improvement through process standardization, automation, and adoption of DevOps principles.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Minimum 7+ years of hands‑on experience in designing and managing AWS infrastructure using Terraform.
Proven expertise in building and automating CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, integrating Terraform configurations.
Strong understanding of securing AWS environments and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Pay Details $71.00 to $75.00 per hour
