Akkodis is seeking an
DevOps /AWS Engineer
for a
Contract
with a client in
Raleigh, NC(Remote).
You will design and implement scalable AWS cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD automation.
Rate Range:
$45/hour to $49/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
DevOps /AWS Engineer job responsibilities include:
Design and implement scalable AWS cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) to support enterprise applications.
Develop, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment and integration of applications.
Configure and manage AWS services, ensuring high availability, security, and compliance with industry standards.
Implement automated monitoring and alerting solutions using tools like Amazon CloudWatch and Splunk for real-time system performance tracking.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including development, networking, and security to enable seamless cloud operations.
Support cloud migration initiatives and troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues to ensure system reliability and performance.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Minimum 5+ years of hands‑on experience in AWS and 3+ years in DevOps practices.
Strong expertise in designing and automating CI/CD pipelines and writing Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
Experience with AWS services, monitoring tools like Splunk or CloudWatch, and familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Pay Details:
$45.00 to $49.00 per hour
