Qualifications
Read and write Spanish/English, interact with the general public and co‑workers.
Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, pricing codes, shelf tags, short correspondence, and memos.
Write simple correspondence.
Effectively present information in one‑on‑one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees.
Apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions.
Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 lbs., frequently lift and/or move up to 45 lbs., and occasionally lift and/or move up to 60 lbs.
Desired Extras
Basic PC/Outlook skills
Retail Management Certificate
Responsibilities
Provide friendly, courteous, and helpful customer service.
Assist customers and manage seafood display cases.
Clean, fill, and rotate seafood displays.
Maintain a clean and safe work area.
Physical & Other Requirements
Must be able to lift 50 lbs., bend, stand, and stoop for prolonged periods.
Food Handler Card or equivalent certification is required for all food‑handling positions.
Information The working environment is typical for a fast‑paced grocery store; essential functions include lifting, standing, walking, kneeling, and visual and auditory requirements.
