Responsibilities
Provide excellent customer service, assisting customers, cleaning shelves and display cases.
Clean, fill and rotate the meat wrap displays.
Work with customers to take special orders and with the meat cutter to determine items to be cut.
Lift up to 60 pounds as required; be able to lift 50 lbs, bend, stand, stoop for prolonged periods.
Maintain a clean, organized work environment in a fast‑paced grocery store.
Qualifications
Read and write Spanish/English; interact with general public and co‑workers.
Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, pricing codes, shelf tags, short correspondence, and memos.
Write simple correspondence.
Effectively present information to customers, clients, and other employees.
Apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions.
Ability to lift and/or move up to 25, 45, and occasionally 60 pounds.
Desired Skills
Basic PC/Outlook skills.
Retail Management Certificate.
Physical & Other Requirements
Must lift 50 lbs., bend, stand and stoop for prolonged periods.
Must have a Food Handler Card or equivalent certification.
