Role The Facilities Assistant will support the Catering, Laundry, and Domestic services at Lawson Memorial Hospital. The role involves maintaining high standards of service and cleanliness in line with local infection control policies, Covid‑19 guidance, national cleaning specifications, and waste regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure high standards of service and cleanliness across catering, laundry, and domestic areas.
Maintain compliance with NHS Scotland National Cleaning Services Specification and Waste Regulations. Support catering duties, including regeneration of meals and preparation of salads, sandwiches, and snacks.
Meet specified cleaning schedules and promote high standards of cleanliness within the environment.
Support laundry services to meet NHS Scotland National Cleaning Services Specification.
Cover Monday–Friday and weekends as required for a part‑time post.
Working Hours & Pay Part‑time, Monday‑Friday with weekend coverage as needed. Rate of pay from £13.31 an hour, with an attractive weekend working rate.
