We are seeking an experienced Litigation Legal Assistant to provide comprehensive support to two partners joining the team in January. This position focuses on

medical malpractice defense

and

construction litigation , requiring a highly organized professional with strong attention to detail and a commitment to long‑term career growth.

Key Responsibilities

Manage case files, monitor deadlines, and maintain attorney calendars.

Draft, proofread, and e‑file pleadings, motions, subpoenas, discovery documents, and correspondence.

Obtain and summarize medical records; prepare chronologies and deposition summaries.

Coordinate expert witnesses, depositions, hearings, and trial preparation logistics.

Assist with reviewing construction documents, organizing evidence, and liaising with contractors, experts, and insurers.

Prepare discovery responses, document productions, and trial notebooks.

Qualifications

Experience:

Minimum 3 years in litigation; medical malpractice or construction litigation experience strongly preferred.

Knowledge:

Familiarity with Florida state and federal court procedures and e‑filing systems.

Skills:

Exceptional organizational and communication abilities.

Strong drafting and proofreading skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal case management software.

Additional:

Stable work history—no frequent job changes.

Pay Details:

$65,000.00 to $70,000.00 per year
