Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Quality Assistant Manager with over 10+ years of progressive experience in quality assurance and quality control. The ideal candidate will support the Head of Quality Department in developing, implementing, maintaining, and improving quality systems, laboratory operations, and customer support processes to ensure products meet internal standards, customer expectations, and regulatory requirements. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and a continuous improvement mindset. This role will also ensure compliance with ISO 9001 requirements, support product quality and lead benchmarking initiatives to align global best practices with local standards. The Quality Assistant Manager serves as a technical liaison between suppliers, customers, and internal teams, driving continuous improvement in product reliability and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Quality Systems & Standards
Develop, revise, and implement inspection work instructions, control plans, and COA processes aligned with ISO 9001 standards.
Support gap analysis, stage 1 audit preparations, and ongoing QMS improvements to ensure audit readiness.
Establish document control processes and maintain compliance with customer and regulatory requirements.
Initiate and manage process control audits to strengthen system reliability.
Laboratory Management & Equipment
Lead vendor search, purchasing, and validation for laboratory and reliability testing equipment.
Manage and train lab inspectors; oversee daily inspection activities and troubleshooting.
Production & Process Support
Provide operator and inspector training during plant start‑up and process changes.
Support incoming material inspection and established work standards for additives and raw materials.
Lead process initiatives, document engineering changes, and contribute to PPAP/EO changes traceability.
Act as a technical liaison with key customers to resolve complaints, recreate defects, and provide data‑driven solutions.
Participate in and support customer audits, addressing non‑conformities and ensuring effective corrective actions.
Support supplier quality by issuing NCR and corrective actions for purchased materials.
Translate and adapt work instructions, quality management documents, and reliability testing SOPs from global company sites to fit local operations.
Conduct plant visits and benchmarking studies to align production and quality practices with corporate standards.

Successfully translated and implemented global quality work instructions to company operations.
Supported ISO 9001 audit readiness by initiating document control and audit preparation tasks.
Improved customer support responses by managing complaint investigations, retaining and analyzing samples, and providing corrective actions data.
Led vendor qualification and purchase orders for lab and reliability testing equipment, supporting plant readiness.
Initiated Power BI‑based inspection trend monitoring to improve process visibility.
Skills & Tools Applied
Quality Systems: ISO 9001, QMS documentation, Control Plans, PPAP, EO/ECN traceability.
Lab & Testing: FT‑IR, GC, adhesion testing, sample retention, reliability testing SOPs.
Tools: Microsoft Office, Excel, Power BI, SAP, ADP, QMS platforms.
Methods: Gage R&R, SPC, Root Cause Analysis, Corrective Actions (NCR, 8D).
Stakeholder Engagement: Customer audits, supplier NCRs, training operators and inspectors.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Science / Quality Management or a related field.
Quality certifications such as ISO Lead Auditor, Six Sigma Green/Black Belt, CQE, or equivalent (preferred).
Minimum 10+ years of relevant experience in quality assurance or quality control, with at least 3–5 years in a supervisory or assistant managerial role.
