Come join the Weigand-Omega Team for this exciting opportunity. We are looking to add a Maintenance Technician with our Residential team. The Maintenance Technician performs general maintenance repairs and preventive maintenance throughout the entire portfolio, ensuring that property interiors, exteriors, and site areas are cleaned and repaired in accordance with manufacturer’s directions. The role also includes continually improving working knowledge of the property.
Knowledge, Abilities And Other Qualities
The employee shall perform his/her duties using standard levels of productivity and dependability, ensuring completion in a timely and zero-defect manner.
Performs necessary repairs and preventive maintenance throughout the entire property.
Assists and maintains landscape and irrigation systems.
Must portray a clean, neat, well-groomed professional appearance.
Requires company-approved attire with identification badge in sight.
Must be honest, trustworthy, enthusiastic, and team/project oriented.
This position has no authority that is not specifically delegated from the Supervisors.
Must be customer service oriented and genuinely support and promote good resident/tenant relations and service.
Ability to work independently, direct others, willingness to learn, and good communication skills. Willingness to participate fully in staff meetings and designated training programs.

Qualifications
A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
Minimum one year of maintenance experience in a related field or formal training from a trade school is required.
Reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and current liability insurance coverage.
Able to work full time.
