Shipping and Receiving Responsibilities:
Create and process bills of lading, packing slips, and related shipping documentation
Coordinate and schedule all inbound and outbound shipments
Load and unload trucks using appropriate equipment (pallet jacks, forklifts, etc.)
Inspect incoming materials for accuracy and damage
Prepare outgoing shipments according to company and carrier requirements
Maintain organized and accurate inventory records
Communicate with carriers, vendors, and internal departments as needed
Ensure all shipping/receiving activities follow safety and quality standards
Requirements For Shipping and Receiving:
Previous experience in shipping & receiving preferred
Knowledge of bills of lading, packing slips, and basic logistics processes
Ability to operate material-handling equipment (forklift certification a plus)
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Basic computer skills for data entry and documentation
Ability to lift 50+ lbs. and work on your feet throughout the shift
