Summary of Position The 340B Coordinator will assist the Chief Compliance Officer in planning and implementing a systemic program for clinical quality and outcomes improvement at Cabarrus Rowan Community Health Centers Inc. (CRCHC) pertaining to the 340B Program. The role serves as primary administrative and reporting support to the 340B Program and evaluates processes for all 340B requirements, supporting compliance with internal QI initiatives and external regulatory requirements. Responsibilities also include program development, 340B audits, and reporting.
Minimum Qualifications
Ability to read, write, and comprehend instructions in English.
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
Professional interaction with internal and external customers.
Ability to gather and synthesize information.
Willingness to travel to other CRCHC sites and local contract pharmacies.
Required Experience
1–2 years in the healthcare field.
Proficient in Microsoft Office products.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Skills
Familiarity with 340B Programs.
Comprehensive knowledge of pharmacy practices, billing & systems, and 340B program regulatory and compliance requirements.
Solid understanding of financial concepts, auditing standards, techniques, and procedures.
Education and Certification High School Diploma required. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or Pharmacy preferred. Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) or Medication Aide/Medication Tech Certification preferred. Work experience within a related field can be evaluated in lieu of formal education and/or certification.
Certification(s)/Licensure
Complete Apexus 340B University within 6 months of hire.
Complete Apexus 340B ACE within 12 months of hire.

Key Responsibilities
Daily management of 340B Claims and platform maintenance across all TPAs and Rebate Systems.
Daily management of 340B Referrals claims across all TPAs with assistance of the Medication Assistance Program Team.
Daily response to pharmacy requests or other communications from outside the organization concerning the 340B Program.
Monthly submission of 340B Program Dashboard and End‑of‑Month Reports.
Monthly submission of 340B Program Audits for all TPAs.
Assist in leading the organization’s 340B Program by working with Leadership to monitor, measure, analyze, improve, and/or control program goals, objectives, and services.
Create and deliver system‑wide 340B education programs for staff, vendors, and contractors.
Monitor and report on 340B compliance, drug utilization, program savings, and discrepancies.
Analyze, synthesize, and share report results with impacted staff, providing guidance for continual 340B program development.
Conduct regular audits of 340B pricing and coordinate corrections with wholesalers.
Support facilities in maintaining CDM‑to‑NDC crosswalks for accurate purchasing and replenishment.
Collaborate with split‑billing and contract pharmacy vendors to ensure compliance and optimize savings.
Perform internal audits, identify performance gaps, and develop corrective action plans.
Prepare for and coordinate external audits, ensuring timely submission of all required documentation.
Identify opportunities for program improvement and provide actionable recommendations.
Participate in special projects, initiatives, and ongoing 340B compliance efforts.
Foster and facilitate vendor relationships, including local pharmacy and TPA relationships.
Provide support for pharmaceutical and therapeutic relationships, including regular meetings with Pharmacy management and minute-taking during committee meetings.
Utilize texting system and Athena Communicator to communicate 340B‑related advertisements, targeted campaigns, etc. to patients.
Assure support as needed during implementation of clinical and operational projects related to quality improvement.
Provide additional administrative support to all Quality Improvement Department projects and initiatives.
Perform other duties as assigned.
