Assistant Teacher
to support our early childhood classrooms. Our center provides a joyful, play‑based environment where children learn through exploration, creativity, and hands‑on experiences. If you enjoy working with young children and want to grow your career in
childcare, daycare, or preschool education , we’d love to meet you!
Key Responsibilities
Support the Lead Teacher in creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment.
Assist with implementing age‑appropriate learning activities and daily routines.
Help manage classroom tasks including meals, diapering/potty routines, rest time, and transitions.
Build positive, supportive relationships with children and families.
Maintain a clean, organized classroom that supports learning and independence.
Follow all NYC childcare licensing and center safety guidelines.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required.
Experience working with children in a daycare, preschool, or childcare setting preferred.
Strong communication, teamwork, and reliability.
A passion for early childhood education and helping young children learn and grow.
CPR/First Aid certification a plus (not required).
