Roessel Joy has partnered with an established firm on a new Senior Staff Accountant role. The ideal candidate will have a strong background working in the General Ledger, strong Excel experience, and strong professionalism and communication.
Responsibilities
Execute monthly AR processes including statements, client follow-ups, and reconciliation.
Generate internal AR status reports and manage aging schedules.
Support the collections function as needed.
Oversee AP transactions ensuring timely and accurate processing.
Manage monthly AP close.
Journal Entry postings.
Post payroll journal entries in the GL.
Ad hoc projects as needed.
Qualifications
Bachelors in Accounting or Finance.
2+ years of accounting experience and experience working in the General Ledger.
Advanced Excel skills.
Seniority level Associate
