My client is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist / Programmer to take ownership of Haas CNC Mill & Lathes operations, programming with Mastercam, and contributing to critical projects in a high-spec, ITAR-regulated environment.

What’s on Offer : Full time work (Direct Hire) – $38 per hour (DOE)
First shift – Monday – Friday 6AM-230PM
What You’ll Do As a CNC Programmer / Machinist : Program and operate Haas CNC Mills and Lathes, performing complex operations including turning, milling, grinding, boring, tapping, EDM, and more.
Create new programs using Mastercam (2D prints and solid models) and optimize manufacturing processes.
Run machines from setup to final pass using DNC and manual input as needed.
Verify all machining is within tight tolerances using precise QA tools and inspection techniques.
Collaborate on tooling, fixturing, and engineering improvements, offering feedback on process development and tooling design.
Train junior operators and contribute to a culture of knowledge-sharing and craftsmanship.
What You Bring as a CNC Programmer / Machinist : 4–6 years of CNC machining experience, including program creation and multi-machine setups.
Strong command of Mastercam and comfort working from technical drawings and solid models.
Experience with manual mill and lathe work is a plus.
Ability to read complex blueprints, follow detailed instructions, and make real-time adjustments.
Proficiency in math and spatial reasoning (trigonometry / statistical inference skills a bonus).
Excellent problem-solving skills and a drive to maintain top-tier production standards.
