Role Overview The Senior Accountant – Reporting & Financial Analysis will deliver timely, accurate, and insightful financial reporting. This position oversees consolidations, intercompany transactions, bank reporting, and FX accounting, partnering closely with FP&A, Treasury, and other finance functions to drive standardization, process improvement, and automation.
Key Responsibilities Financial Reporting & Consolidations:
Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidated financial statements in compliance with US GAAP.
Perform account reconciliations, including intercompany balances and eliminations, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Support management reporting, including variance analysis and commentary.
Partner with FP&A to deliver meaningful insights to leadership and drive decision‑making.
Intercompany & FX Management:
Manage intercompany transactions, reconciliations, and eliminations across multiple entities.
Monitor and record foreign currency gains and losses, ensuring proper accounting treatment and compliance.
Partner with Treasury and Accounting teams to ensure timely settlement of intercompany balances.
Bank Reporting:
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual bank reporting, ensuring accuracy of balances and proper reconciliation of accounts.
Support Treasury and Accounting by providing insights into bank positions and variances.
Assist in the design and automation of bank reporting processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.
Process Improvement & System Enablement:
Identify opportunities for standardization, automation, and process enhancement in reporting and consolidations.
Support ERP and reporting system implementations or upgrades, including testing, validation, and documentation.
Develop and maintain dashboards, KPIs, and other analytics to provide transparency into financial performance and trends.
Change Management & Collaboration:
Partner with business stakeholders to drive adoption of new reporting processes and tools.
Prepare clear documentation, procedures, and training materials to support sustained transformation initiatives.
Serve as a finance business partner by providing guidance and insight across reporting, FP&A, and operations.
Qualifications Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred.
4+ years of accounting experience, focusing on consolidations, reporting, intercompany accounting, and FX.
Strong understanding of US GAAP, FX accounting, and intercompany accounting practices.
Experience with ERP systems, reporting tools, and financial consolidation software.
Advanced Excel skills, including financial modeling, pivot tables, and data analysis.
Detail‑oriented with strong analytical, problem‑solving, and organizational skills.
Preferred:
Experience in carve‑outs, transformation projects, or system implementations.
Experience with ERP implementation and developing reporting, with specific knowledge of Oracle Cloud, Financial Consolidation and Close (FCC), and Planning modules.
Familiarity with continuous improvement or automation tools in finance.
Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to influence stakeholders across departments.
Experience with multi‑entity or multi‑currency organizations.
