Dispatcher

Dispatcher Reports directly to the Dispatch Manager and is responsible for the safe dispatching of quality ready‑mix concrete deliveries, providing a professional level of customer service to all customers, and assisting the manager in safely and efficiently maintaining and operating the ready‑mix concrete plant facilities.

Job Duties

Constantly communicate with Core Concrete customers, plant personnel, and sales personnel

Work in a high call volume environment, spending the majority of the workday making and answering phone calls and managing electronic concrete dispatching schedules

Communicate professionally with outside customers, sales personnel, and plant personnel regarding scheduled deliveries

Accurately and confidently facilitate orders based upon jobsite locations and terrains, weather, truck capacities, and timing parameters

Present exceptional customer service skills

Communicate and answer customer comments, questions, and concerns

Think critically as issues and conflicts arise

Assist with customer payments when necessary

Continuously monitor, data entry, add, and change orders within scheduling software accurately and efficiently
