General Description Responsible for maintenance, upkeep and appearance of facilities throughout Operation PAR and its affiliates.
Essential Job Functions
Minimum 1‑5 years building maintenance experience
Self‑motivating; can troubleshoot repair needs and complete tasks to completion
Complete work orders in a timely manner; maintain buildings and related equipment
Monitor inventory of spare parts, maintenance supplies, and equipment; initiate reordering when necessary
Maintain and repair maintenance equipment
Communicate regularly with maintenance technicians to ensure two‑way communication concerning maintenance issues
Monitor operation of plant equipment and systems
Coordinate with directors and vendors to ensure compliance with city, county, state, and federal regulations
Experience with building maintenance and use of power and hand tools
Knowledge of vehicle service needs (oil changes, wiper blades, car batteries, first aid kits)
Certificates and Education
High School diploma or equivalent (GED)
Essential Physical Skills
Ability to drive a commercial size van
Speak and write coherently
Lift 25–50 lb; bend, crouch, and climb ladders
Good vision and hearing
Special Requirements
Valid driver’s license
Clearance by PAR auto insurance carrier to operate PAR vehicles
Level II background and drug screen
Maintain current training as required by Operation PAR, Inc. policies
