About the Role: Our manufacturing company is seeking a reliable and safety-focused
Forklift Driver
to join our growing team. In this role, you will operate forklifts and material-handling equipment to move, load, and unload materials throughout the facility. This position is ideal for someone with strong attention to detail, solid forklift experience, and a commitment to maintaining smooth warehouse and production operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Safely operate sit-down or stand-up forklifts to transport materials within the facility.
Load and unload trucks, move product to production lines, and stage materials as needed.
Maintain accurate inventory movement by scanning, labeling, and documenting materials.
Inspect forklifts daily and report any mechanical issues or safety concerns.
Support material handling, shipping/receiving, and general warehouse tasks.
Follow all company safety procedures, PPE requirements, and equipment operation standards.
Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards.
Qualifications:
Previous forklift experience required (stand-up and/or sit-down).
Valid forklift certification preferred (company can certify if needed).
Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work on your feet throughout the shift.
Experience in manufacturing or warehouse environments strongly preferred.
Strong attention to safety, accuracy, and productivity.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
