How will you make a difference? You will be responsible for handling and distributing materials from the shipping department, conducting inventory, shipments and supplies throughout the plant and warehouse, packing wooden/overpack boxes and loading customer orders onto trucks for shipment, and operating industrial lift truck equipment safely and proficiently.
Responsibilities
Accurately pull parts for production areas and accurately stock parts in warehouse locations.
Ship and receive outgoing and incoming materials.
Maintain a clean and organized work area and maintain equipment accordingly.
Comply with safety requirements and company policies.
Complete production and quality assurance forms.
Participate actively in team meetings and group discussions.
Actively participate in continuous improvement activities or events as required.
Adhere to Quality Management System Requirements.
Read and comprehend procedures written in English.
Qualifications
High School Graduate or GED.
1 year in a warehouse or distribution environment.
2 years of forklift experience preferred.
Ability to operate a computer to read and input data.
Must be able to work overtime.
Critical thinking and problem‑troubleshooting skills.
Physical Demands
Wear appropriate PPE such as steel‑toe boots, gloves and safety glasses.
Stand, walk, stoop, crouch, bend, work underneath equipment, reach above shoulders and climb regularly.
Frequently lift and/or move up to 35 pounds unassisted and up to 75 pounds with assistance.
Work in typical manufacturing conditions including seasonal temperature variation and occasional exposure to fumes or by‑products.
Other Requirements The company will only employ those who are legally authorized to work in the U.S. for this opening.
