Job Responsibilities
Assist customers, provide friendly, courteous, and helpful service.
Set up, maintain, and clean seafood display cases.
Clean, fill, and rotate seafood displays.
Under direct supervision, perform all duties essential to the Seafood Clerk function.
Qualifications and Requirements
Read and write Spanish or English; interact with general public and co‑workers.
Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, pricing codes, shelf tags, short correspondence, and memos.
Write simple correspondence.
Effectively present information in one‑on‑one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees.
Apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds; frequently lift and/or move up to 45 pounds; occasionally lift and/or move up to 60 pounds.
Food Handler Card or its equivalent certification required for all positions related to food preparation, handling, and serving.
Preferred Additional Qualifications
Basic PC/Outlook skills.
Retail Management Certificate.
