Overview The position is responsible for properly recognizing the correct linen belonging to the account being processed. You must ensure there is no mixed, dirty, or damaged linen before feeding it into the machine or hand‑folding it. You must maintain a fast pace speed meeting company’s expectations while practicing safety procedures. In addition, Production Operators help ensure the machinery is working properly by communicating with their leaders of any issues.

Duties and Responsibilities

Feed machinery with sheets, duvets, bathrobes, pillowcases, towels, tablecloths, napkins and mats.

Maintain a clean and organized working station.

Ensure linen being processed belongs to the assigned account.

Identify any damaged, dirty, or mixed linen and properly place it in the correct containers.

Maintain an average of 85% or above for production based on the IT system (Spindle).

Always be logged into the IT system (Spindle) while working on the machine.

Perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.

3 months or more related experience in a commercial laundry or hotel industry.

Ability to understand, comprehend, and follow simple instructions, short correspondence, and product labeling.

Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers.

Able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Ability to meet required performance goals and objectives.

Ability to work in a team environment and alone.

Good communication, both orally and written in English.

Must have good attention to detail.

Oils: air and/or skin exposure to oils and other cutting fluids (frequently, occasionally, rarely, never). Respirator: use of a respirator is required (frequently, occasionally, rarely, never). Physical stamina: due to emergency or workload demands, subject to extended work hours requiring stamina beyond normal demands or levels (frequently, occasionally, rarely, never). None: employee is NOT substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions (frequently, occasionally, rarely, never).
