Join us in the exciting, innovative, and rewarding environment of the Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife Resources (KDFWR)! This is a seasonal position at Camp Webb within the Information and Education Division. The Facility Maintenance Worker I performs general maintenance work in the upkeep of buildings, grounds, and associated equipment.
This is an Interim position. An Interim position means a position established to address a one‑time or recurring need of less than nine (9) months duration and exempt from the classified service under KRS 18A.115.
Responsibilities
Performs janitorial duties in buildings and on grounds including general cleanup, trash pickup, and/or removal, vacuuming, polishing, etc.
Performs maintenance duties as assigned including painting, carpentry, minor electrical, heating, ventilating, plumbing repairs.
Performs mowing, snow removal, and grounds repair/maintenance as assigned.

Working Conditions Incumbents in this job title may be exposed to extreme temperatures which requires the following of safety procedures. Must follow safety procedures, such as utilization of eye and ear protection, when utilizing certain mechanical equipment.
