Join the Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife Resources (KDFWR) for an exciting, innovative, and rewarding environment. This seasonal position at Camp Webb within the Information and Education Division provides professional nursing services to patients in state facilities and may supervise Licensed Practical Nurses or other staff in the implementation of nursing policies and procedures. Interim Position
This interim role addresses a one‑time or recurring need for less than nine (9) months and is exempt from classified service under KRS 18A.115. Responsibilities
Maintain licensure throughout employment to perform medical treatment and administer medications to Camp Webb campers and staff. Intervene when emergency care is required and promote health maintenance and prevention of illness for campers and staff. Maintain essential documentation in medicine administration logs, medical treatment logs, and incident logs/reports as medication is administered, medical treatment is performed, or incidents occur that required a response by a medical professional. Supervise, teach, delegate, and oversee other personnel in the performance of nursing care activities such as Camp Director. Preferred Skills and Abilities
Certified Registered Nurse Responsible and positive outlook. Willingness to work as part of a team. Self‑starter/motivated individual. Adaptability and flexibility. Minimum Requirements

Must be licensed in Kentucky as a registered nurse or possess a valid work permit issued by the Kentucky Board of Nursing. Work is typically performed in a hospital or institutional setting. May be exposed to hazards common in hospitals or institutional settings which requires following of safety procedures.
