Assistant Manager – Domino’s Pizza Domino’s Pizza is hiring Assistant Managers to lead store operations. The role involves managing daily operations, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining quality standards.

Job Responsibilities You are responsible for everything that happens during your shift. This includes all cost controls, inventory control, cash control and customer relations. You must set the example. You must follow ALL policy and procedures 100% of the time and expect the same from your crew.

Staffing, paperwork, cost controls, cash control, food management, work to a schedule, perfect image and adherence to standards.

Great customer service, attendance & punctuality, transportation to/from work, store cleanliness, marketing, and profitability.

Qualifications

Operate all equipment.

Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, walk-in cooler.

Prepare product.

Receive and process telephone orders.

Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.

Clean equipment and facility approximately daily.

Orientation and training provided on the job.

Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.

Ability to communicate verbally with customers and coworkers.

Math skills: add, subtract, multiply, divide accurately and quickly (calculator may be used).

Make correct monetary change.

Verbal, writing, telephone skills to take and process orders.

Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers to rapidly and accurately make precise movements.

Enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.

Work Conditions Exposure to varying weather conditions when removing trash and performing outside tasks. In-store temperatures range from 36 °F in cooler to 90 °F or above in some work areas. Sudden changes in temperature, fumes from food odors, exposure to cornmeal dust, cramped quarters including walk-in cooler, hot surfaces/tools up to 500 °F, sharp edges and moving mechanical parts.

Sensing & Temperaments Communication via telephone, near and mid-range vision for most in-store tasks, depth perception, ability to differentiate hot and cold surfaces, ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet quality control standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, make judgments and decisions.

Physical Requirements & Additional Information Standing – most tasks performed standing.

Walking – short distances for short durations on ceramic tile, bricks or linoleum.

Sitting – paperwork completed at a desk or table.

Lifting – bulk deliveries up to 50 lbs, unloading with hand truck.

Carrying – large cans (≈3 lb), pizza sauce (≈30 lb), pizza dough trays (≈12 lb).

Pushing and pulling – moving trays on dollies (24–30 lb).

Climbing – occasionally navigate stairs or ladders.

Stooping/Bending – rolling dough, stocking ingredients, front counter.

Crouching/Squatting – stocking shelves, cleaning low areas.

Reaching – up to 72 in, down, forward.

Hand tasks – eye‑hand coordination required for tasks such as shaping dough, using peel, rolling cutter, assembling boxes.
