Assistant Manager – Domino’s Pizza is responsible for the success of the store and its staff while enjoying a career that offers fun and opportunities for growth. Responsibilities
Operate all equipment. Stock ingredients from the delivery area to storage, work area, walk‑in cooler. Prepare product and receive/process telephone orders. Take inventory and complete associated paperwork. Clean equipment and facility approximately daily. Manage staffing, paperwork, cost controls, cash control, food management, scheduling, image standards, customer service, attendance & punctuality, transportation, store cleanliness, marketing, and profitability. Qualifications
Comprehend and give correct written instructions. Communicate verbally with customers and co‑workers to process orders over the phone and in person. Perform accurate arithmetic (add, subtract, multiply, divide) quickly; use a calculator if necessary. Make correct monetary change. Use verbal, written, and telephone skills to take and process orders. Coordinate motor skills between eyes and hands/fingers to rapidly and accurately make precise movements. Enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen. Adapt to varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions, in‑store temperatures ranging from 36 °F in cooler to 90 °F+ in work areas, sudden temperature changes, food odors, cornmeal dust, cramped quarters, hot surfaces/tools up to 500 °F, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts. Physical Requirements
Stand for most tasks, walk short distances, lift bulk product deliveries (up to 50 lb), carry large cans (3 lb) and pizza sauce (30 lb), push trays on dollies (24‑30 lb), pull trays, climb stairs or ladder, stoop/bend at horizontal waist, crouch/squat to stock shelves and clean low areas, reach up/down/forward, use hands continuously, perform frequent hand tasks.
