Job Summary Move, deliver, cycle count, and track materials and components within Orenco’s manufacturing operations. Responsible for WIP, sub‑components, finished products, and electronic movement of raw material and finished goods.

Responsibilities

Maintain safe work environment and promote safety culture.

Navigate computer systems for part locations, inventory, and orders; organize materials in storage areas using appropriate apps.

Perform inventory control, cycle counting, and order raw material from warehouse.

Deliver finished goods within two days of order ship date.

Operate fork trucks, pallet jacks, carts, and handheld scanners; conduct daily forklift safety inspections.

Track and deliver goods from drop zones, manage bin locations, and perform cycle counts of subcomponents, WIP, and departmental materials.

Coordinate movement of materials with warehouse staff and work cells; prioritize workload and schedule movements.

Keep materials areas clean, organized, and free of safety hazards; attend team meetings and cross‑train as needed.

Perform other duties as assigned; must attend manufacturing business hours, with occasional shift changes or overtime.

Qualifications

No minimum education requirement.

Minimum one year as a Material Handler I; forklift certified (or achieve certification within 30 days).

Completion of initial and annual eight‑hour Emergency Response & HazWopper Operations training.

Proficient in reading, writing, math, and data entry for inventory transactions.

Excellent communication, listening, interpersonal skills; positive attitude and self‑management.

Ability to follow instructions independently or with occasional supervision; sound judgment in problem solving.

Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record if vehicle use is required.

Tools & Equipment

Calculator, cell phone, computer, forklift, pallet jack, hand truck, tablet, two‑way radio, vehicle, general office equipment, panatracker, scissor lift, fire‑treatment equipment.

Working Conditions Indoor/outdoor production, warehouse, and office environments with exposure to chemicals, solvents, and dust. Respirators, protective gear, and medical certification provided. Exposure levels below standard limits.

Physical Requirements Stand, walk, kneel, climb stairs/ladders, reach, push, pull, lift up to 50 lb (70 lb with assistance). Periods on manufacturing floor include prolonged standing, repetitive foot and hand movement, and occasional motor vehicle operation.

Salary:

$21.22 - $23.34 per hour
