Material Handler / Inventory Control - Level II
Location : Confidential Onsite
Department : Materials / Warehouse
Reports To : Materials or Warehouse Supervisor
Employment Type : Full-Time (Non-Exempt)
Shift : 1st Shift - 5 : 00 AM start (OT as needed)
Pay : $21.00 per hour
Position Summary Execute material movement and inventory control across receiving raw materials, work‑in‑process and finished goods. Perform ERP transactions, prepare accurate production kits and keep inventory records and locations clean, organized and up to date.
Key Responsibilities
Pull issue and kit materials to work orders with full traceability
Perform ERP / MRP transactions (issues, moves, receipts, adjustments); research and resolve discrepancies
Conduct cycle counts and location audits; maintain bin labeling and organization (5S)
Support receiving, shop moves and finished goods staging to meet production schedules
Verify counts, part numbers and documentation on all material movements
Create/close work orders and keep paperwork/system data accurate and current
Operate pallet jacks / forklifts safely (site certification as required)
Follow all safety and PPE requirements; maintain a clean hazard‑free work area
Qualifications
1-2 years of material handling or inventory control (manufacturing preferred)
Basic to intermediate computer skills; experience with ERP / MRP systems
Read and follow work orders and written instructions in English
Detail‑oriented, reliable and able to communicate clearly with production and purchasing
Forklift experience preferred (or willingness to certify promptly)
Physical & Work Environment Frequent standing / walking; lifting up to 45 lbs with proper technique
Manufacturing / warehouse environment with moving equipment and moderate noise
Adhere to all safety, quality and housekeeping standards
